Japanese Charred Timber Finish

For a finish that really makes an impact, we offer Shou Sugi Ban – a traditional Japanese method of charring timber with fire. Manufactured in-house using a process that we have refined over three years, Shou Sugi Ban results in a consistent carbon layer on the exterior of the timber boards. This carbon layer protects the timber and reduces maintenance requirements while offering a striking, modern aesthetic.

Trendplank cladding with a Shou Sugi Ban finish is ideal for both interior and exterior applications. Every piece of timber is individually graded and checked to ensure we deliver you a beautiful product with a consistent finish every time.
