Our marine decking is kiln dried to 10-13% in a closely monitored procedure to ensure it will stay secure and flat. Each timber piece is also ‘pre-finished’ with a coating of high quality preservative to ensure a durable decking that can be enjoyed for years to come.

Marineplank can be ordered in a wide range of different timber species, including several different Australian and American hardwoods which are excellent for timber decking. We can supply the timber uncoated or fully pre-oiled prior to delivery. We use the penetrating oil Clear Cutek CD50 which is designed for optimal protection of the timber in exterior applications, but is also suitable for interior projects. This oil helps control moisture within the timber to minimise warping, cupping and splitting and increase the longevity of your decking.

To maintain the natural timber colour an additional two coats of Cutek CD50 should be applied on site. If you would like the timber to be pre-oiled before delivery we use Cutek Colourtone to help protect and enhance the appearance of the timber.
